Dr.
Kurt Klimpel Chief Technical Officer
of Aqua Bounty Technologies and Chief Operating Officer
of Aqua Bounty Pacific
A molecular biologist, Dr. Klimpel oversees the Company’s
shrimp research division at Aqua Bounty Pacific in San Diego.
Dr. Klimpel joined Aqua Bounty from Super Shrimp Group,
where he was VP of Research. Prior to that, he was a scientist
at the National Institute of Health where he specialized
in developing defense systems against bacterial and viral
disease. Dr. Klimpel won many honors while at NIH and is
a world-leader in shrimp research.
